Sprayer! A good choice?

July 25 2007 at 5:49 PM
Alex

I have a round-up sprayer(2 gallon) It works for my pre- spraying. But usually i have to refill two maybe trhee times depending on the size of job at hand. That means more pumping, which means more time.
I'm looking into a good sprayer to increase productivity as i am primarily solo.

Battery operated not too expensive but will get the job done better then pump-up. Will use for protector, Encapping ect.

What would be a good choice?

Thanks

not too cheap, but i love my battery powered Multisprayer...i leave it plugged into my cancer-stick lighter 24/7. it can't "over-charge" and is meant to be left plugged in as much as possible. never had it run out of power on me yet.

quick search i found this best price: http://cgi.ebay.com/Sprayer-Multisprayer-Cordless-TC2-Carpet-Cleaning_W0QQitemZ7522185643QQihZ004QQcategoryZ66962QQcmdZViewItem

also ya might try Mike at Hardball, sometimes he sells them cheap...email him and ask: info@hardballchemical.com

thanx --- Derek.

Derek,

When I first looked at it I thought it said 42.00, I was gonna buy 3.  Then I double checked and it was 420.00- so I bought none- lol.

I have 3 of them, all electric, around $320 at JonDon. I have been using them for over 8 years now. Derek didn't mention that every one comes with 2 Tootsie pops in every sprayer and they have been doing that for years. I heard Rick was going to put a couple of Nike golf balls in every case of Releasit or at least a couple of Range balls.

I have an electric multisprayer also. Before that I was using the round up sprayers. Went through about 1 of them per month. I like the multisprayer a lot but find myself often wishing I'd gotten the cordless so I wouldn't have to deal with the cord all the time. They work very well and I have about 8 extra jugs so you can take as much product as you need to a job.

Speaking of multisprayers, does anyone know of a bucket heater that will fit and is safe to drop into a multisprayer jug?

Thanks!
-Grant

I don't know the diameter but you can call them to find out.

The bucket heater ( that Joe Mentioned) will fit a 5 gallon square jug that some ship product in, they also can be bought seperately from JonDon.

I was searching and saw that rocket sprayer and it was interestingly nice. 5 Gallons, back-pack option
wheels and handle, 6 pound battery 90 gallons per charge. Reasonalbly priced.

But it seems to be worth paying a little more to have the multi option with the multi sprayer. That seeems to be a huge advantage. Good Choice!! Thanx.

no idea Ken, mine's never run out so i couldn't say.

have used it on 2 resi jobs for maybe 6 hours. it isn't on long in a resi situation....how long does it take to apply pre-spray? and then pro? not long unless your over-applying it.

now using it to apply encap on a 5,000 - 20,000 sq.ft. commercial gig is another story... at that point skip the Multisprayer and buy a solution-tank-outfitted-Cimex

thanx --- Derek.
