Hello All

I have used Encap a faw times now and i was just seeing
which is the best method for applying it onto the carpets.

I have a old polivac C27 scrubber with pads and soft to med brush.

What is the best way to use Encap i have been spaying the encap on
the carpets and scrub it in with the brush seem to work ok
but how much should i be spaying onto the carpets?

Also what is the best way to apply it to wool carpets?

Thank you

Get a solution tank. Pull the handle til you see a white appearance on the carpet and scrub away.

To add to what Charles correctly stated above, pads work better than a brush. You also need a good encap detergent.

It's sad to see some of the products on the market that claim to be "encapsulation" cleaners. Many are not formulated to crystallize/encapsulate soil. And some of them don't clean well. The unfortunate part of this is that an unsuspecting carpet cleaner assumes that he has purchased a quality product. But when the results are less than he expected, he concludes that encap doesn't work. In other words, the plethora of mediocre "encapsulation" products on the market gives the good ones a black eye. (OK I'll get off my soapbox now)

In conclusion, start with a good encap detergent; and use pads with a solution tank. And if we can help you with any questions along the way, please don't hesitate to ask.

thank you for the information

i have been thinking about pulling a tank onto the the machine
with a pump on it with two jets i have seen one over here like
that and seems to work well.

so what type of encap detergent. would be good
i am using Releasit and some other one that a place makes over here
what types of pads would be good

i am using dry cleaning Bonnet's
i have seen i can get a pad like the Fiber plus pad

or is there other pads that i can use

so it is a good thing when it foams up when you are cleaning?

thank you

Yes the tank is a BIG plus saves LOTs of time and allows for a better job.
The Releasit is the best best product I have found and I do recommend the fiberplus pads they last longer and do a great job on carpets. If you run into a real nasty place with a lot of dark stains from spills, etc. I recommend keeping a set of fiberplus max pads they are more aggressive anmd should only be used on a CGD carpet. Also for the "nasties" prespraying with Releasit Punch helps the end result.

I agree totaly with Rick, I have used other products without the results Releasit provides I prefer the DS and on heavy traffic lanes Punch as prespray. Awsome product one of the good ones maybe the best. The otherside of the coin is it is a bit more expensive intil you look at the dilution rate it brings it right in line cost wise.
