Well, enough is enough. I want to get properly trained in this arena. I want to KNOW what I am supposed to do. I live in Central Florida just outside Orlando. Can someone point me in the right direction to get trained in carpet/floor cleaning?

Crown Cleaning Supplies in Orlando have IIcrc Certification Classes all the time except during summer. They also have a resident floor expert for vct, terrazzo, mex tile etc. also hands on natural stone classes. Don't know exactly what you're looking for but they are very nice people to my knowledge.
If for some reason that doesn't suite you Jon Don in Tampa has a great program and one of the best training centers i've been to, just ask for Zee or go to JonDon.com

Read the archives, practice and then practice some more. See if you can ride along with someone in the industry that has a good reputation. Just my thoughts. Rick's bro Dave has an awesome stone class and he's right there in St Pete. www.stonecaredirect.com

As you are looking for carpet and floor certification I recommend Jon Don's training. They have a location in Florida and I thing it's around Rick's place.
www.jondon.com.
If you get into Stone then Dave's class is a must.
