Carpet Cleaning

Do I need to use a hot water extractor after I encapsulate or does this defeat the entire encapsulation process?? Or If I do use a hot water extrator after encapsulation, should I add some ReleaseIt encap-clean to the hot water solution tank??
Thanks.

There is generally no need to use HWE after encapsulation. Encap is a stand alone cleaning system.

For the times that you would like to HWE a carpet instead of encap but would still like the encapsulation abilities as it dries then use Releasit Encap Punch in your rinse.

One thing that is very important to remember. Whenever you are going to extract ALWAYS use only Punch, even if you are applying and agitating with the Cimex beforehand. Otherwise you will have foam in your machine up to your eyeballs if you include Encap Clean anywhere in the mix.

Hi Rick T. ...regarding the foaming...will that still happen if you encap with Cimex/Releasit DS and then HWE later on...say three months down the road?

Aris the answer is NO.

You will NOT see a foam problem on HWE cleaning following your normal cleanings with Encap-Clean.

Chances are that most of the crystals have been vacuumed out by that time, but there is a chance it might. Just remember some defoamer just in case.
