Connections 2007

I am contemplating attending connections in Vegas and would like to hear from anyone who has attended in the past as to whether this show is a good business investment. Also would like advice on where to stay and what events to attend?

I am a small company ...specializing in large commercial accounts using 4 Cimex machines. I currently have one full time employee and five part timers. We service about 45 retail locations and 11 municapal offices about 240,000 sq/year.

We also do some residential using a Challenger a Vento and a Walk behind HWE unit.

I am in my third year and need to grow fast to service the debts I incurred while starting the business. Is there oppoutunitie for new business to be found at this show?

Rick,

Connections is the place to go to learn about new products or products you just always wanted to demo but were never able to.

The fact that I can go there and talk to other industry professionals and learn from there experiences either face to face or in a classroom type setting is great.

You will not regret going.

By the way, if you are a member of the World Floor Covering Association then they will pay for you to go. Even if you are not a member call them and become a member this week and they will still be able to get you a scholarship to go to Connections. It cost $250 to become a member and they will pay up to $500 a year per organization for education. Look into it. www.wfca.org

Connections is a blast!

Is it geared toward a guy who is hard core COMMERCIAL? No.

But it's still a great experience. Heck, getting to see yours truly should make the trip worthwhile all by itself.

Thanks for the input I have just registered and I am a member of WFCA. I look forward to meeting new people . I was told by an anonymous source that you can get a better rate at the Hilton if you ask for a special promtion and do not mention connections ($89.00) - email or call me for details
