Now, the fun begins. How exciting! I must be easlily entertained. I had rather clean a dirt carpet than watch TV. I wonder how well cold beer would go with carpet cleaning?

Funny you should mention this Phil. I got a call from a local copier service company on friday and their tech spilled some of this silicone oil on the carpet too. I've got to go see it tomorrow. I've never dealt with that particular oil, but I'm assuming it is similar to any other. Did you have any particular difficulties taking it out?

Yes...and no

My guy told me he spilled the entire bottle. It came out but wicked up a tad. However, he said he could still feel the "slippery". I should have HWE too but, it was a trade out.

Keep in mind all I used was DS.

Would a 50/50 mixture of DS help with the wick back, over all looks great

I have one to do tomorrow that they spilled or lost about 30 gallons of some kind of detergent or soap and tracked into the office, man its black,

I'll take some pics

I would suggest blotting the spot with a towel using some Encap-Spot or use a strong dilution of Encap-Punch or Encap-Clean. Aggressively blotting up the base of the stain with a terry cloth towel will break down and absorb the stain. Then clean with the Cimex using MINIMAL moisture. Make SEVERAL dry scrubbing passes. Your final step is to apply some 50/50 Encap-Clean and work it down into the fiber. This should take care of an oil residue/wicking problem. Give it a try - I hope this will work for you.
