Encapsulation: Residential or CommercialAugust 13 2007 at 1:55 PM | System4 |
| Can you use the encapsulation method for both commercial and residential accounts using the Cimex machine and ReleasIt products? Someone told me last night that I shouldn't use encapsulation on greasy carpeted floors (restaurants). I should use only HWE. Is this true?? Could I possibly use HWE with encapsulation (ReleaseIt Encap Punch)? |

you can do whatever you want with a Cimex and Encap.
for resi: some spout off you can't while others spout off you can.
in some resi situations (like this morning for example - a repeat encap client) if i have a berber i gladly prefer Cimex/Encap over OP/padding.
i was there a year ago and i was pleasantly surprised how well they've held up through today. when i arrived for the 1st time a year ago, they were quite dirty. this after a fella hwe'ed them a year earlier...operator error no doubt.
for cut-pile i prefer OP.
for "greasy restaurants", i again prefer my Cimex/Encap over OP/padding.
but others poo-poo it...you won't know for yourself until you try it.
i have 2 "greasy restaurants" that i take care of with Cimex/Encap. one for 3 years and the second for 9 months.
just did another joint yesterday....the greasiest of them all. have had 2 diff hwe contractors since they opened 9 months ago. complained to me about both. called an hour ago and they're thrilled.
works for some, not for others i reckon. you will get several different answers / pieces of advice depending who you talk to...it's all good.
thanx --- Derek. |

If you HWE definately use the Punch. I try to incorporate encapsulating detergents in everything I clean.
I clean alot of resi with just cimex/DS, but sometimes you need to just flush it (i do with my Demon & Punch)
Try it yourself to get the best answer!
OH yeah, I just did a resturant this morning...Flushed it once a year ago, service it every 2 mo. with Cimex/DS (some times a little bonneting) Looks great, dries quick. Furniture back and ready for business.

Thank all of you for the advice. I really do appreciate it. I'm gonna try the folowing: pre-spray with Encap-Punch, scrub with Cimex using DS. Once a year HWE w/Encap-Punch. |
