This is what I have. Mine is 5 and a half years old. It was used every day as my stand alone cleaning unit for 3 years. I still carry it on the van everyday to use as needed. I have been very happy with this unit. You can equip it as you like, I recommend not getting heat and going for more P.S.I.. Mine had 3 vac motors, dual heaters and a 150 p.s.i. pump. When the heaters went out I elected to remove them and upgrade to a higher pressure pump.
Bill at CleanCraft takes very good care of his customers. Very good service. And that's a lot for me to say because Rick has spoiled me with his team's great service. Richard Brooks

Two Best Portable HWE Machines I have used are Steamin Demon and Cross American Recoils

i used to recommend the Eclipse and Recoil (owned a Recoil 3HP, great machine).
but now that i have moved away from portables i am planning someday to nix the "traditional" portable for a Steamin Demon. not even a TM can rival their flushing action!
no more pulling 2" vac hose or bucket brigade for me.
thanx --- Derek. |

Derek, you are a smart man. Auto fill/ auto dump is a great feature of the Steamin Demon. |

I purchsed a Recoil XPS from cross american, I love it much vacuum power don't have to haul machine through the house or business visit the site www.crossamerican.com Ed Valentine is the owner operator and has 30 years in the CC business. Very impressive and straight shooter. Another plus I don't pop breakers with this dual cord machine like my other ones. |

I have a Diamondback extractor and a Rotovac. This system does a great job of flushing trashed carpet and dry times are pretty good too...But, the Diamondback has two power chords and the Rotovac adds another. That's three power chords. Add the vacuum/solution hoses and you have pure drudgery. I usually think of another two worded phrase to describe this. If I were to add another piece if HWE equipment, it would be a mid-sized self contained, one that holds 7-9 gallons. I like the looks of the Powr-flite PF9S and the Windsor Cadet 7 for my purposes, which would be usually as a touch-up (a kind of a wet-post-vac) behind Encapping with DS and the the Sprint, Cimex or Rotary. I also like the ideas behind the SD and also the Agitator 20 from US Products, but the hoses and hook-up/dump requirements scare me.
Of course, if I had endless money, I would own every type, because CC equipment kills lawn/garden equip any day!!!! |

For the very little HWE I do, less and less these days, I use a Ninja 150. I think it's a great machine...light weight, very manuvarable and extremely reliable. They are reasonable priced as well. |

The Ninja 150 is an excellent choice. I got mine from Larry Cobb a few years back. I rarely use it since I got the SD from Rick. I may be tempted to sell it for 5 Ben Franklins, raymoody@charter.net

| Very Nice Machine | August 15 2007, 8:04 PM |
As for the Kleenrite that Rick posted about above it has been simply amazing. The amount of suction is unbelievable, many times if we’re just running 50-75 feet of house we only run one vac motor; otherwise there is just to much suction. Students we’ve had in two different Stone Restoration classes have also been very pleased with it; a few have gone so far as to say that there was more vacuum or at least equal to their TMs.
Also another thing that I like about this machine is how accessible everything is if you should need to do any work to it. With my last high pressure porty there were two bolts under the machine that you had to take out and then do your best to pull everything out of the back of the machine. You could never get it out far enough to get to what you needed to get to. Then most of the time you ended up inadvertently pulling a wire or two lose. We spent a lot of time working on this that unit. This machine, undo two clips and tip the top of the machine back and it’s all right there. Easy to get to, easy to see and quick and simple to work on if you need to.
This machine has auto fill, auto dump. Another nice feature is that there is no solution tank; it’s a direct feed right from a water hose. This makes the machines smaller and lighter but more importantly there is no float to malfunction and cause the tank to over flow while you’re working at the other end of the house. (Go ahead; ask me why I think this is a most important feature.) With this we run Gekko wand and 14” squeegee head with very good results all types of hard surfaces. If anybody has any questions don’t hesitate to ask.

After Davids explanation, sounds to me like a "Gotta Have One" |

I'm assuming you're talking about a high psi unit for tile & grout? Is the psi fully adjustable? Could you still use a machine like that for upholstery and rugs? |

I visited the Kleenrite site and from what I see you can get the machines configured anyway you want.
If your doing only carpet the Edge can be configured with different pump pressures and vacuum configurations. The Horizon for both carpet and hard surfaces.Seems like pretty nice stuff.
How come you don't advertise them on your site?

| Lots of cool new stuff :-) | August 16 2007, 8:24 PM |
Joe,
We will be adding SEVERAL more machines to our website within the next couple of weeks.
We now handle the full line of Kleenrite machines.
We also now carry the complete Windsor equipment line.
We just got set up with Koblenz machines.
And we also just added TurboForce Hard Surface cleaning tools.
A lot of new developments, we just need to get the website updated to reflect all the new items. Stay tuned!
