Vento and FP Pads question?????

Can you use FP Pads on a Vento?  Or only bonnets?

Yep. Lots of folks use Fiberplus pads on OP machines to do encap scrubbing. Works great.

What cleans better with the FP pads...a rotary or an OP machine?
I guess one advantage of the rotary is compatibility with a solution tank.

Anyone ever try an OP with a solution tank?

An OP machine will produce considerably more agitation than a rotary machine. A rotary machine turns at 175 rpm's. A Vento or a Challenger makes 1,725 mini revolutions as it makes it orbital rotation.

Putting a small tank on a standard OP could probably be accomplished. I can also get you an attachment for the Vento that enables it to be fitted with spray jets along with a solution hose that gets run to a pump source like on an extractor. It's a pretty slick idea.

I have a 13" Oreck Orbiter that I use a Fiber Plus pad on for area rugs works quite well

I use FP on my Vento when I have a small office to clean. You know the ones not big enough for the cimex.

The problem I have is you really have to pre spray.

But it does work.
