A restaurant manager yesterday asked me for a proposal on his carpets, then added, I want the banquette backs (not the seats) cleaned also. I expect I'll use my usual 6" orbital scrubber and a mixture of Releasit DS and Punch. I'm just not sure how to price it. There's about 500 sq. ft. of vertical banquette backs, some in low long benches running along a wall, and some in a higher, semi-circular booth arrangement. Any thoughts on a sq. ft. price here?

I would not price that by the sq. ft. Too many variables. I would use time vs. your hourly rate @$100. We useally charge $4 a chair if thats any help. The last job we did had 240 chairs.

I would just figure how long it would take and how much in materials I thought I would use and price the job accordingly rather than trying a footage price. I have begun to do that more and more recently and it has made things a bit less complicated for unique cleaning situations.

Or an hourly labor($75-$125 in my area) + 2X(materials cost) = final cost.

Of course, your area may require a higher labor charge than mine, we are kinda low around here.
