What can I use to remove a nail polish stain. Is nail polish remover to abrasive?

In the past I used a solvent spotter "Dry-Max" from CleanCraft Products. Worked well however because it is a liquid I worry about carpet delamination.

I now use Pro-solve gel from Pro's Choice. It is a solvent however it is a gel that does not penetrate the carpet backing. If after using Pro-solve gel there is still a colored tint from the nail polish I treat it with a dye stain remover such as Red Relief or Red Vanish.

A few weeks ago I had a client use nail polish remover on their spill before it dried. The small nail polish spill spread like wild fire. When we got there we used the above products with success.

Be sure to rinse the Pro-solve gel out of the carpet.

"Be sure to rinse the Pro-solve gel out of the carpet."

Very true , left unrinsed you may disolve the glue in the carpet!
