The photos you uploaded below are nice shots. My results always "look" the same too. But I got a lot of wicking on some carpets. Are you experiencing wicking too?

hi Phil

if you are getting a LOT of wicking with OP then you are definitely using too much moisture to clean with.

either too much pre-spray or too much water on your pads.

if you are using Punch then you don't need to use pads that are sopping wet. i always ring it out until it is hardly dripping at all (if at all). remember, with Punch you are not leaving a soil-attracting residue, so a high volume of water to extract isn't always necessary. and if you feel it is in a rare trashed-out-carpet instance, then post-pad with near-dry -to- dry pads to pull up excess moisture. beyond that, put a air mover on the carpet to speed dry.

thanx --- Derek.

oh but

make sure if you post-pad with near-dry pads that you use a glider and are careful not to damage the carpet...use discretion. better not to use too much moisture in the 1st place lol

hope this helps --- Derek.

The Rick G Method

September 5 2007, 1:13 PM

What i did Phil is applied the Rick G method on the high traffic areas and the few stains that were present. I didn't have the time to take my time with it but i did apply it using the time i had.

Just as you've gotten success with the Cimex using the formula so like wise with the Vento sucecess lies ahead.

Thanks
