How long

Under "normal conditions" does it take CGd to dry. Subjective I know with many variables BUT

I made tons of dry passes, I did use lots of water (well, considering i was using a Mytee porty 100 PSI pump) but I tried to make sure to recovered as much water as I could....I used dry pads over and over....

What I am really asking is, can I go back TODAY to pad/encap for whatever "wicking" may have returned?

I finished yesterday about 3 PM.

Phil, CGD is most likely 100% Olefin which holds less than 1/10th of 1% of it's weight in moisture. You are dealing with a verticle surface, so guess where the other 99.9% of the moisture goes? Straight down to the bottom. Of course that is not very far on CGD. If you are using 100% cotton pads after the HWE, you should have drying times of 2 hours or less, even less with Air Movers.

Thank you. I did over-wet the carpet....bur wanted to make sure i did the best job I could at flushing it...so i wnet over it many many times dry passing.

All in all, they turned out great. If stained...

An hour or two at the most (possibly less) is normal drying time for a good encap cleaning. Make sure the HVAC system is running to help get it dry. And if you need to speed dry the carpet, blowers/fans will help speed things up.
