Does anyone have the deluxe version of the icapsol with the on board electric sprayer and is it worth the extra money? How loud is it compared to the sprint and what does it wieght? Thanks.

I do

That's the one I have. You can see my comments in a couple of the threads below. As far as if it's worth it, who knows, depends on what you need it to do, your other equipment, etc. This is my only (or first) machine with an onboard tank and I wanted something with it's own tank.

The tank pops off in about 5 seconds so you can run it either way, though the battery, etc. is still in there so that adds a few lbs of weight. Another ingenious design is there is a filter you literally just unscrew, rinse out the screen and screw it back on, doesn't get any easier than that.

I've never seen a sprint, but the icapsol isn't very loud. I'm used to running OP machines and its quiet in comparison to those. I believe it's around 55 #, fairly light in comparison to other machines.

I just recieved my Icapsal today, UPS said it weighed in a 75 pounds. As far as being loud, any vacuum cleaner would be 10 times louder then this machine. I did not get the deluxe with its own sprayer. The one I got you can strap on a 3 gallon sprayer, straps come on the machine.

How does this machine encap? I purchased it for prescrubbing nasty traffic lanes.

Bruce,

Pre-Spray with Encap-DS and run the machine up an back over the pre-sprayed area.  You have just encap cleaned the area.  Pretty simple really.  Works well for touch-up 6-Month cleaning on residential cut pile so now you have a great way to stay in front of your client quickly, easily and at a reduced price.

You can scrub protector in with it too!

Make you own luck,

According to the info on Rick's site it weighs 52#. The deluxe is probably around 60. That seems about right, right about the same weight as my Challenger.
