Pretty profitable. Helps keep customers that have switched to hardwood floor also. We did 10 rugs at one house this morning, and this house did not have one bit of carpeting. Sweet!
There is real good money in doing orientals also. Just be sure you get the "know how" first.

Also- Sun-Belt is having Aaron Groseclose teach the IICRC RCT class, Nov. 8,9, in Raliegh, NC. I believe the cost is $349.00. Well worth it!

Rug cleaning

September 19 2007, 7:12 AM

We clean lots of rugs. The thing I would say is get training first. Aaron Groseclose, as mentioned above, is a great teacher and I have been to his class twice. There are also other schools across the country.

Follow the standard and don't clean rugs at the customers house. Clean them at your shop. You will be able to do a better job and charge more for them.

Here is a couple of photos of our shop.

With any luck this one will be just as contraversial as the last one. Notice the cord is out of the water.

Great video Kevin!

Would it be alright if we posted a link that on the Cimex page?

Kevin-

What do you use the lino roller for? To make sure a deo is fully absorbed into the rug/etc?
