update on wool carpet

I went out there today could not see any fuzzing or pilling from up top but felt a bit when rubbing my hand over the carpet also got down and looked across and saw the fuzzing it feels very soft to touch.

I asked if I could inspect the cupboard where we had not cleaned and it looked a lot worse than the areas we had done, she told me she has never cleaned in there and that her cat goes there sometimes.

So using a shaver in the cupboard I found there was a mixture of her cats hair and carpet fluff more carpet fluff though.

Anyway I can not see how our Cimex would have created this fuzzing or fluffy feel the only proof I have is the cupboard which I am sure she will clean before her so called carpet expert comes along. She also told me that she will not use any carpet expert that I recommend.

To be continued

If she tries to get an 'expert' that will favour her point of view and therefore her ultimate goal (poss replacement on you) then I imagine that you are equally and legally allowed to have your own consultant come in and then both side can do what they like from there even if it meant court.

She can't stop you from having someone can she?

And I thought we only had miserable, sue-crazy, neurotic customers in America. Looks like you guys might have a few too.

I wish you the best with this weird situation.

Keep us posted.

Craig, I hope you're keeping a COMPLETE contact log.

I had a claim against me some time back and I was advised 2 days into it to do this and it ended up being the difference between the claim going straight through verses being looked at for consideration.

If you don't have anything to date, start one TODAY. Write actual notes of times, days, appointments, content of conversations etc.

For anything that happened prior to you starting this log, note them as post written from memory and also get your tech to write down anything he did/said/used/process etc.

Really hope you can get this sorted.
