Hi everyone, my name is Bill and I'm new here. Have a ? for you guys.
I have an opportunity for a big job, 80,000 sq ft, office building, mostly open space, (hallways, larger conference rooms, not much moving furniture. I havent seen it personaly yet, but from what I here fairly soiled for whatever thats worth. I'd have up to 3 weeks to complete the job.
I'm basically a one man show, been in the business for about a year now, use a cimex and a challenger.
Questions. Can I complete this job with what I have? What would some of you guys out there charge sq ft wise (I know I'm on or near the bottom of their budget for the building).
Thanks for the help, love the forum it really has taught me alot, hope to be on here often

You should be able to clean at least 2,000 sq.ft. per hour. If you vacuum, use a helper. A temp can vacuum and bring you water. That would be 40 hours work. How much do you want to make an hour? $100.00? Charge .05 $200.00? Charge .10 Bid the job at .07 or .08 and make it tough for anyone to compete and still make 150.00/hour. You decide.

Equipment wise your good to go hopefully your using Fiber Plus Pads, & Releasit DS, I would inspect the job before bidding. David VB pricing seems right on only thing you may be only doing 1000SF per hour depends on furniture moving, degree of soiling etc. Can you sell on maintenance program if so price origianal at certain price and monthly, quarterly etc. at lower price easier to maintain than resurect
