I've never used Ricks juice lately, so I don't know how it cleans, but I have used Hot Knife and it's a darn good cleaner. To be politically correct, you may want to get the Punch from Rick, and call VacAway for their spotters. As far as I know, Steve's line of encap. spotters is second to none.

thus far Punch is the best pre-spray i've found for OP. haven't tried some other products like Hot Knife for OP...these days it might take months to try out the all new products that are continuously coming out.

i've given up on them all and stick with Punch for OP. it's my fav Releasit product.

thanx --- Derek.

I have not tried Hot Knife...I have tried Blaze. I used it side-by-side with DS/Punch.

No difference.

I still have 1/2 gallon of blaze. I used it on the nasty CGD I spoke of weeks ago. The smell of the blaze gave me an horrible headache.

It may have a place on some carpets...but not worth the horrible smell to me. Punch pre srpay, DS mixed hot when needed, pad, extract, pad, collect, get beer. (Vacuum fuzzies )

I don't know the difference between Johns and Steve/s spotters but I have Johns and they work well enough.

I have not had to use the Red- Stain stuff yet...

My tools are tools...not magic wands. So far though, all of my clients are very very happy.

Sure,

What machine are you getting?

If it is the Vento, you have made what i call the best choice. Tat thing is awesome. You will find that on some carpet piles you must be careful when it come to op-ing. Cgd it works really great.

Thanks
