Bidding a restaurantOctober 15 2007 at 9:11 PM | Anonymous |
| Hey Guys-
Bidding my first restaurant tomorrow. Customer is friend and has been having it HWE in the past.
Want to sell him on the Cimex and releasit combo on a regular maintenance. Dining area is approx 1600-1800. Cleaning will involve vac and moving tables.
I am looking for suggestions for pricing per sq/ft and any tips you would like to throw my way.
Any insight would be highly appreciated.
BTW I also have an OP and Steamin Deamon xl-20.
Thanks
Dan

Use Cimex with Hot water Releasit DS 4 oz per gal. and if bad Punch prespray 6 oz per gal. along with Fiber max pads, if it will help I can forward some pictures I took of a job I do for resturant always HWE monthly, finally figured pad was so full of crap I had to just concentrate on fibers and reduce moisture. Works great, I usally run a air mover while cleaning just to ensure everything is dry before I leave. The Cimex will do a great job even on greasy spoons, do yourself a favor halfway through the job while one half is clean and the other half isn't makes a great selling tool on your next jobs. |

Anybody able to take a Cimex to Mikeyfest this year? If so, I'd like to press Mike to find a nice greasy restaurant to test it in. Quite frankly, I don't belive you guy's.
Nothing personal ... but ... |

Admiral Clean- Don't really worry about impressing you with the results nor care what you believe. My customers are very satisfied and thats my only goal. Besides you seem to be very impressed with yourself, good for you. |

We maintain several restaurants in local chain. From experience there are some areas in the two busiest onces that just need to be extracted in order for the appearance to be acceptable for any length of time. We use a CBM and a Demon in these areas with great results.

There was no personal attack directed towards anybody in my post Jeff, and there was no call for you to be so defensively rude. (But it's nice to see a normal buttwad on this forum. It makes me feel at home.)
In fact, if any of you go to Mikey's board, I posted a thread related to this topic and got a couple of positive reports about the effectiveness of the Cimex in this situation.
PS And I am impressed with myself, Jeff. I hope you like yourself too. Or, learn to if you don't. Going through life with no self respect is a real road block. |

Marty I got a place I do. Before I got them on Releaseit I did have to us my TM and an RX 20 to really get the carpet flushed out. I sprayed down Soil Ez and have been encapping with a fiber plus pad and DS for a year now. I really feel between a good flushing (Enzyme prespray) and putting down a good coat of Soil Ez got me off on the right foot. I do clean the carpets every 6 weeks in this place. Not trouble getting results. |

Thank you for such a polite answer Steve. It's refreshing to see a measure of decorum in this otherwise disappointing post.
I have had a somewhat similar experience, although it is using HWE instead of the Cimex.
I have a church account with a really bad fellowship hallway coming out of the kitchen. I can GLS encap. all the rest of this building, but need an enzyme prespray for this hallway. I got a case of a film forming encap solution with teflon in it from my supplier and started using it on this hallway about 2 months ago. The hallway repels dirt and grease so much better now that I can get away with GLS'ing it now. |

Did you fail High School Chemistry? You stated: "I used a film forming encap" That is a Oxymoron. If you e-mail me, I will educate you so that you can past the next test. |

LOL ... yeah, I know Ray ... but it's kinda like the lesson I learned from John G. over the years ... if you say it long enough, even the most rediculous statements will eventually become viewed as fact.
I guess Larry Cobb has me fooled. (However, be it known that Cobb's film former is not the product of which I speak.) |

I was really hoping for a rehash of the "film forming encap" discussion. I'm disappointed no one bit. |
