Freize

No issues. None. Nadda. Zip. Used the thin glider and cotton pads. Vacuumed the fuzzies. case closed.

In fact, this carpet looked bad BEFORE I got there....looked like new when I left.

I simply kept the Op moving.

Great job Phil, I know some have had problems with it, was it polyester or nylon?

To Rick

First, Jeff, I don't know which one.

Rick, I regret not taking pictures of this carpet first. It is a cream color and had nasty traffic areas and tons of little "gummy" spots. So, I just thought it would turn out "okay".

Nope....I did not pre treat any spots...I did spray some Punch on the traffic area...then I used DS at the hot ratio....and used the Vento Cotton pads (the tan ones)...and I used the thin glider.

Holy Cow. It looks like brand new carpet and it is 20 years old! It has to be the best results I have had yet. perfect!

I am very happy with the products you sell Rick. As stated in other posts, I am a rock solid client. Your chemicals make ME look like a pro. Thanks.

soon, the window cleaning will go by the way-side.

Not all freizes are created equal. Much depends on the quality of the heat set. I suspect a carpet that old probably had a better heat set than much of what is produced today. Approach each freize with caution when using an OP.

i thought Frieze's had only been around for 7-9 years. i suspect that was a legit old Shag.

someone correct me if i'm wrong.

those old shag's are much more durable than the new Frieze's from my experiences...hence easier to clean, as you can get more aggressive with them.

thanx --- Derek.

The length of the fiber is longer if your old enough to remember the shag in the 70's looks similar, reminds me of a lawn. It does groom up nice with a rake, infact many of my customers want to purchase a rake when they see me use mine. I have seen both Polyester and Nylon mostly polyester in condos I clean is less expensive than Nylon.
