Stone/cement floor

Rick, I know your brother is Da'man when it comes to stone floors.

One area I am interested in is cement floors. As you know, here in Florida we have justa little cement sub-flooring and I might like to look into taking up ugly, existing flooring like trashed carpets and such...polishing the ugly cement floor and re-creating that ugly floor into something really nice.

Is that an area ya'll teach?

Hi Phil

Yes concrete polishing is covered briefly in both the classroom part of the course as well as in the text book. Many of the same principals that apply to stone and terrazzo restoration also apply to concrete polishing. As soon as we have a date for our next class (and I’m hoping that the class will be before the end of the year) I will let everyone here know about it. But just to make certain, if anyone here is interested in taking our two day class on stone restoration please send me an email and I will keep it on file; PLEASE be certain that you put in the subject line: Stone Class. My direct email is, David@1800marbleguy (dot) com

Also if you have any general questions, as always, post’em here and I will cover’em

Thanks.
