Swirls In Carpet

Did a 600sf, 2BR apartment yesterday using the Cimex w/encap ds. Carpets came out great. Went back today and vacuumed. Couldn't get the "swirls" out of the carpet. Any comments??

Always brush swirl marks out of cut pile carpet while it is still damp.

To remove them now you should be able to dampen the carpet and brush the marks out. Worst case scenario, run your machine over the damp carpet then brush.

when i was new to Cimex'ing, the swirls scared me to.

you'll grow to like them is my guess...most if not all of us have.

clients like them. in 3 and a half years not one has asked me to remove them or even mentioned them negatively. several have commented how they like them. 1 being the only apartment complex we've ever had.

thanx --- Derek.

On residential cut pile carpets you should always have a carpet rake (groomer) for use after cleaning. As stated above if you do it right after cleaning you should have no problems.
