Hi Derek,
Yes you can clean it with an OP.I have done so in the past and every once in awhile using an all natural cleaner/degreaser.I mix according to the label, apply with a qt pump sprayer.Clean the floor with a wrung out pad, then go over with a dry pad.Super simple!BTW,don't use a glide

Put a FiberPlus (or FP Max) pad onto your OP and scrub with a neutral cleaner. Rinse the floor with a clean mop (and/or cotton pads) afterward. It will do a decent job of cleaning, however these "no wax" type floors can become stained, so be sure to keep that in mind and under-promise.

Actually Punch should work just fine.
Low foaming and excellent cleaning ability.

VCT / LANOLIUM

If i was to walk into a kitchen to qualify a job, just by looking down at the floor how would i be able to tell if its lanolium or VCT?

Is Strip N wax procedure the same for both?

Thanks

Alex,

"Linoleum" is a brand name that is not much used anymore (least not in these parts).

VCT is vinyl tile - typically 12" squares that you see in some retails stores.

a resi kitchen around here wouldn't have VCT...it's over kill and ugly.

it would have Vinyl, which comes in a big roll like carpet does, with many, many different designs.

hope this helps bud --- Derek.

BTW, i've stripped VCT with my 'Mex once. makes somewhat of a mess. i wiped it up after, no biggie that i recall.
