In my short experience i found it benefitial to do so. Traffic lanes for instance. I scrub with Cimex and it looked very good after the scrubbing.

But then decided to put my 8" tu-ways on cimex and go over it again. I noticed when i stopped and looked at my tu-ways there was soil there.

So i was able to extract soil right away even after the scrubbing. Not only that, the carpet was dry to the touch in 30 to 40 min. (CGD) So faster dry times is also a benefit.

Now i have the option of using cotton with OP.

50% More Area!

Both Danny and Alex are correct. After Cimex we use either the OP or the 175/300 Bonnet machine. I am not a fan of the 8" bonnets and the reason is you only get 150 sq. inches of surface area to clean with. If you use a 17" bonnet with a 19" bonnet you have more than 226" of surface. If my math is correct the 17" bonnet has 50% MORE AREA!.

I have always used them on more soiled areas. I have found that it is easier and more efficient to use the OP that I have then the Mex for the bonneting...more soil is removed quicker.

Danny,

Are those the Tu-Ways Rick sells or do you have a different source?

I use my bonnets for upholstery, and then towel down.

I've seen the light, and changed my wicked ways.
