When do most retail stores have their carpets cleaned, before or after the holidays?

We've done TONS of retail through the years, literally miles upon miles of the stuff. In the early 80's we would lock up groups of stores by doing a demo for the district manager, and then we'd get all of his/her stores. During the 90's the vast majority of retail stores moved over to national maintenance firms (MMM's) for their carpet cleaning. So we were forced to do work for a few of the MMM's (if we wanted to continue retail cleaning). Bottom line, through the years we have done a LOT of retail. And the holiday season has ALWAYS been the time of year when the stores really ramp up on maintenance. Extra service, any time the manager requests it, is the norm. However, like I said above - MOST retail companies are now using national MMM's, so it will be very hard for you to pull down much retail on your own.

For us, the stop time is a week after Thanksgiving.

This is because I do retail stores during business hours Mon- Thursday. No ways to easily get around after Thanksgiving.
