Poly/olefin carpet tiles and sheet poly/olefin

Shorty

Using pads on the above carpet, the FibreMax pads wear to quick, plus the best machine on the carpet can be a beast to control.

I have heard of people that like to uses brushes on these types of carpet, (although down under, Karndean, distributors of Flotex, say that it is not carpet, but to treat it like a vinyl in cleaning).

What is the brush that you prefer??

I am going to try something different shortly, should I get the job, I will let the cat out of the bag if & when I do it.

Cheers,

Shorty.

I've seen the light, and changed my wicked ways.

If you want to try brushes - the 4805 brushes would probably work best, since they're more aggressive. But be forewarned, they are VERY aggressive, and they could easily damage a commercial carpet that isn't a tough as nails olefin carpet. It will also be harder to control the amount of detergent that you're dispensing. If you need longer pad life, the beige FiberPlus pads last about 20% longer than the gray colored Max pads.
