Which handle did you break?

The solution feed handle?
The handle that adjusts the height?
The main handle that the tank is attached to?
Or the handle that you grip with your hands?

Let us know which handle you're referring to.

BTW None of the "handles" break very often.

sorry Rick for no details.
it is the handle you grip where the rubber meets the yellow plastic.

Well Ken - you get the prize. In the few years I've been involved with Cimex, that is the first time I have ever heard of someone breaking the handle. Congratulation! You win the prize for most unique damage done to a Cimex.

This should be an easy repair. Remove the yellow plastic cover where the switch box is located and then have the handle welded.

The height adjustment handle on mine broke off last week,I just laughed.Every job something different,Thank god for the doctor(Rick G).My Cimex breaks so often I need Bluecross/Blueshield insurance on it. With all the problems I've had the cimex is still my favorite machine.

Ken,

Your customer would have had to smack it pretty hard to break the handle. That probably should not be a warranty repair, because it's essentially impossible to break welded steel, without some kind of excessive force. Yet good customer service is always the best option IMHO - so I would take care of the custy and keep him happy.
