Just made a purchase from Austraila. I like the exchange rate, .85 buys you a AU dollar. Shorty, I feel your pain, to begin with you pay a 15% premium. Next, the shipping cost are out of site, not to mention how long it takes to get it. I was told 2 to 4 weeks to get my purchase and my funds have already been certified.

A lot of oz suppliers have been known to stretch or exaggerate the truth at times.

Depending if it is coming by air or sea, I would add another 50% onto that time frame.

You've been onto one of our suppliers sites and seen how much we pay for American sourced equipment and chemicals.

Our housing prices has gone through the roof if one is looking to purchase.

AU$400,000 now buys a dog box.

What about us poor Kiwis?

Often our supplies come through Aussie. After the Aussie distributor has incorporated all those costs, then we have to incur them all over again going from Aussie to New Zealand. Again it's about a similar difference dollar wise.
