can you use a wand with a Demon?

December 6 2007 at 12:25 PM
Bill Youmans

I have a demon and in open areas i can pretty much roll (commercial jobs mostly). Now in tighter areas (residential mostly) can I attach a wand to it, like I can an upholstery tool? will it have enough power. If so how long of a hose could I go. The demon is the only portable I own as of now, but like I said, a little bulky in tighter areas so I see how running around with a wand could be desirable.

Thanks
Bill Y

Aboslutely.

You can run a wand.
You can use an upholstery tool.

Be careful how much hose you use with it, the machine is not meant to be used that way as it has only 1 vac motor and limited recovery when used with a wand and a length of vac hose, when used the way it was designed to be used it has excellant recovery capability

I use the upholstery tool with mine often, works great, stairs too. I have also hooked up a regular wand just to see if it works. it does!

I would have to guess that you could use a wand with a demon. However, why would you want to?

You should not associate with demons. Let the demon clean it's own carpet.
