I would say NO the extra time it would take to come back would negate any time / Money saved. If you were going to do that it would be far better extract the chair or encap and then use a UPH tool just for the vac after you encap the chair

once the chairs are finished and completely dry. The built in Vacuuming process begins.(the chair usage)

We use a 2-step process when encapping commercial upholstery:

1. Scrub
2. Run

I found that drill and Rick's roto brush works even better then the fiber plus pad. I get the white film with less effort with the brush so that means less solution and in turn faster dry time. Dry time is important cause this place is busy sun up to sun down.

The Dirt?

If No Vac ---> where does the dirt go?

If you use hwe to clean where does the sticky residue go?
Some in the dirty water tank, some left in the chair.

O.k. maybe you use Punch to hwe. Still where does the detergent go? Some in the tank some left on the chair.

Whats the difference from the two? Well the Punch left in the chair dries to a brittle crystal encapping what soil is left. Thats when the vacumming process takes place from the usage of the chairs. Crystals is scrapped to the floor and vacuumed when the floor is vacuumed. Vacuum process is built-in

On the other hand the sticky residue will do just the opposite. As the chair begin to be used, detergent attracts the soil from the usage of the chairs. Thus becoming resoiled faster.

Maybe my logical thinking isn't so logical but thats how i see it.

If you pre-spray the chairs then extract with water only is there a sticky residue left behind?

I don't think so. But I'm not a scientist

Prespray with a properly formulated upholstery prespray and run a textile rinse through the machine and upholstery will be as free of residue as any other cleaning method!

i prefer to extract upholstery and i have tried the drill and pads.
there are always residues left but its in how it dries and whats left behind.
i run into too many different spotters being used and get most consistant results extracting.
