If it itches then scratch it

December 15 2007, 5:00 PM

I have breathing problems and there are only a few chems that I use. Ricks line of chems does not bother me and I also use John G's PCP. The problem I have is the other mfg's add to much scent to there chems the mind set is you think that when something smells good, its clean. It lets customers know your doing something.

I get the same reaction at my school job, if it smells like bleech, then its clean. I can spray bleech in a cornor of a class room and walk out, do nothing else and the teacher's will say how clean everything looks.

If it bothers you dont use it, its not worth the risk of getting a skin rash or red eyes or even an itchy nose.

When I spray something in the corner, I usually get a sermon from my wife about missing the toilet.

Workplace Health & Safety has come a long way

Use a solution tank and there is no problem.

If you must pre-spray, use a jet that does not mist.

Use a respirator.

You are using chemicals everyday, your customer only comes into contact with it, albeit from a distance, as opposed to you being right on top.

The smell of bleach does not indicate clean to me, merely that sodium hypochlorite, which is a corrosive and can also destroy my mucus membranes has been used and bleached away the annoying discolouration.

Marty tells fibs.

He does not stand in the corner.

His wife told me he sits down on the job

Enjoy the week-end, it's Monday morning here, and I'm out the door.

Cheers,

Shorty.

I've seen the light, and changed my wicked ways.

Mine makes me dizzy and I sometimes fall over if I get up too fast.

So, I normally pee lying down.

Mr. Wheelwright:

Do you even OWN a Cimex?

Test your "encap" juice

December 17 2007, 9:47 AM

The million dollar question to ask about any "encap" product is WILL IT CRYSTALLIZE?

Dry a tablespoon in a saucer overnight and compare the results to see if you have a polymer that will dry brittle. If it doesn't, there is NO WAY the soil is going to magically release from the fiber during the post-vacuuming process.

No crystallization = No encapsulation

The best encap products clean well and dry to a brittle crystalline structure.
If it dries like sticky gooh - encapsulation CAN NOT take place.
So test your juice to see if it's a true encapsulator.

What's going on Marty - you actually referred to me as Mister ??

Yes, I do own a Cimex ( for over 5yrs) and a Roto wash plus a few OP machines and rotarys, several truck mounts, a couple of portables, RX 20's, pile lifters, a Steamon Demon, several steamers and an immersion pool for washing rugs.
So unlike some opinionated, nefarious internet arm chair quarter backs my comments are actually based on a lot more than a demo at some suppliers shop. I am a regular stand-up dude.

ps, And probably most important I neither drink liquor, chew tobacca, whittle or sit on the can to pee.

pps I still have a full set of teef.

So, you're just another internet method of the month guy I see. Have you "mastered" any of those methods, Mr. Wheelwright?

And, can YOU pee while lying down?

Tony & Marty

Tony, that's quite a resume for a guy your age. And Marty, my mother told me that is the way I started out, laying down peeing straight up.

That's odd Ray.  If I have too much to drink I end up peeing laying face down.

Yes Ray of course we all did with the odd exception like Del but most of us actually grew up and became somewhat civilized a feat that appears to still be on Marty's to do list.

Best of the season to the lot of you(se) or is it y'all?
