What did ya'll git for Christmas? My most precious gift is to spend this day with my family, but it would be nice to hear about the electronic gifts, like the back-up camera my wife bought me, because I backed over my own mailbox and drug it clear down the driveway earlier this year...

Jeff, are you serious? If so, I am so sorry to hear that.

Hard to tell if you are glad or sad about your new "gift".
I hope things are where you want them to be man, I appreciate you and your efforts to help me out so much this passed season.


Divorces usually turn out to be better than originally thought.

We all passed around a $100.00 bill. We decided this year that (we are all grown ups here...no more babies to watch open presents) we'd simply enjoy being with one another.

Any one else get one? I have credit cards that are larger and this little thing holds over 4 gigs. Now if I can just figure it all out.......

Time off and spending it with the family.
I got my self a SanDisk because it also has FM radio

Had lots of fun watching the children open up stuff they had no idea dad was cool enough to get.

Best present was finally getting custody of my three boys from my first marriage. (what a haul that was)

Yes I'm serious about the divorce she moved out 2 weeks ago, life goes on. One door closes another opens, Best wishes to all for a safe and happy holiday season and prosperous new year

We have toned it down to pretty much nothing in the way of gifts. I've already got everything:

A wonderful Wife
3 kids that are blessing from God
Extended family which I am very close to.
I live in the greatest country in the world possibly in the best time of all time.
And most of all, the ultimate gift from God: Jesus.

Everything else is so minor by comparison

Our 3rd. Christmas with our 2 kids,technically we were not supposed to have them after the first of December but there mother can't seem to stay out of jail and their father doesn't want to grow the h**l up.

Fine by us,we love them so much and to see them grow so much in the last 2 years has been a tremendous gift,as well as a learning experience,albeit,a fast and a bit un-nerving one.

I guess I should say to those who may not know,is that 2 years ago we became parental guardians of a niece and nephew of mine and we were never planning to have kids.

As far as "gifts"...a pair of tickets to see my favorite football team;the Seattle Seahawks play here in Atlanta,a full body massage and our "kids" gave me a set of new floor mats for my personal truck! They know how much I love clean carpet!

New head cold, well started in chest and for Christmas went to head. New ipod Nano, so darn small the dog almost ate it.

New Nintendo DS, kids broke my old one and a box set of the justice league action figures. After 13 years of marriage my wife is starting to get the idea of what I like.

Oh the good thing about the cold is I didn't go over to see my wonderful Mother In Law and Father In Law. Nothing says love like them two.

Same kid of deal as Patrick's

The wife and I are foster parents and had a placement of three siblings (two boys 3,5 and a girl 7) the parents one in jail and the other just did not want them, (still can't wrap my head around that one). The court system got tired of the game and we adopted all three. It was a rough road as Patrick knows but we feel so blessed to have three beautiful healthy kids.
