Old Gem orbital

I have an "orbital polisher" that was meant to be used for waxing of cars, boats etc. I think it is similar to the Step-son. However, the 'driver' would hold these pads upon whioch bonnets were placed. They were made with an elastic band around the edge to circle the "driver".

The "driver" fight over the head of this machine like a OP driver will slip over that machine. Basically a hole is cut in the center of the driver.

The driver has long been lost...but I still own the heavy machine and might like to use it for steps and such.

Can someone direct me to a "driver" that fits over this machines head and the corresponding "bonnets"?

The diameter is maybe 8" or so?

hi Phil

i have the light-blue gem orbital i bought new off of eBay a few years back. it is under-powered but still does a great job on all my stairs, with damp cotton pads & Punch.

If you have an Oreck store locally, ck them out. They carry the little OP machine that they sell for home use, and it has a plastic pad driver with little spikes to hold pads.

I bought one several years ago, and think that it was like $23.00

If you don't have a store nearby, try them on-line.
