A Bit Cranky....and Prime Minister John Howard, Australia

January 22 2008 at 10:09 AM
Rambo

I am getting a bit cranky in my old age I guess and also a bit impatient with the "war on terror". I resent being more documented than illegal aliens, too. A quote from the Prime Minister of Australia " Immigrants, not Australians, must adapt. Take it or leave it. I am tired of this nation worring about wheather we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians. We speak mainly English, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any othe language. Therefore, if you wish to become a part of our society. Learn the language!" Most Australiana believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, politicial push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to disply it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture. This is OUR COUNTRY,OUR LAND, AND OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, THE RIGHT TO LEAVE. If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.(end of quote) Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks. Seperately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monoitoring the nation's mosques. My kind of guy. We have no-one running for election in this country with those kind of gonads. Kind of sad isn't it.

Please observe rule #4 below.

We don't want to let this board slip into the chatter of politics and religion that some of the other boards are filled with. Thanks!

I wish there was an edit feature to this board.

So I could wash my hands clean.

My appologies to Rick. I have not read the guidlines in several years and I have never been politically or relgiously neutral. That is why I get excited when I read of someone like the Prime Minister of Australia. I will be careful to post them elsewhere in the future. We do not need two blue boards.

Just as Rick piped up to enforce the board rules

The Prime Minister was doing the same for all to see in is country and telling those who do not wish to follow them what will happen much as Rick points out from time to time

Wish our leaders would follow Ricks and the Prime Ministers example and make everyone follow the rules of our country

Rambo for President.  Sly can be VP.

Their Slogan:

"Double the Rambo, Double the Fun".

or

"Rambo Squared"

or

"Fight Terrorism Twice as Fast"

or

"Seeing Double? You Will After We Punch You In The Nose".

You are a great guy Ray, they might appreciate that post more over on Mikey's Board since they like lively discussions.

Oh by the way Ray-  Report to the Pricipals Office- IMMEDIATELY!

(I may be waiting in the chair next to you).

Make you own luck,

Little Johnny Howard is no longer pm of Oz.

He was booted off his throne last year.

That was an old piece of history.

Cheers,

Shorty.

I've seen the light, and changed my wicked ways.
