Criticism needed!

We are changing the name of our company, and are having brochures produced for resi and commercial. I was wondering if any of the kind folk here could comment on the info I plan on putting on my commercial brochure.

Ok, so here it goes! :

I even like the new name for your business "Clean Carpets".
It's simple and it says what you provide!

I went ahead and took your draft and polished it up a little. What I did was a QUICK job. Obviously if I were really working it, I'd spend HOURS on it. But hopefully what I've added might be able to help you shape it a little further.

It looks good I would add library quiet towards the end where you have quiet, creates a visual. Also I see no mention of Licensed-Insured-Certified if your not all 3 list the ones you have. Something I like to state is "commercial carpet is maunfactured differently than residential carpet and needs to be cleaned accordingly, we have invested in the latest technology to provide our customers with the maximum results"
Of course some before and after pictures to draw attention. If family owned and operated I would include "the owner will be on site providing services personally not an $8.00 per hour employee"

Find a problem rub salt in their wound and then give them the solution. Your Company and why you are different then everyone else out there. It boils down to needs and greeds and you need to find them. I know this needs to be a bit generic because of being a hand out,but I would call say 20 prospects or even companies you would rather not clean for and find out the 3 biggest headaches they have with cleaners plus the top 3 priorities for a winning bid on cleaning floor coverings.

After you have done that it will be easier to write something that will get the attention of the targeted audiance

Thanks guys, great advice. I will definately be tweaking this for the next week before it is final.

David, have you tried the approach you mentioned? Was it difficult to get them to chat? That is definately a good "out side the box" idea.

Yes I have done this, once you get the decision maker on the phone asked the right questions to find out what they are looking for is easy when you pose the questions correctly.

This does two things let you know exactly what they are looking for cheap price, quality job, or some where in between.
It also save me from running around doing demos to those who do not qualify are my target, saving me from wasting my time by doing a demo only to find out later they have gone with a cheaper service or someone who had and in.


There is more to the process then that obviously but that is it in a capsol.
