Tuway pads

February 28 2008 at 10:39 AM

Joe DeSouza

Just got them in from Rick for my oreck low boy; next day service here in Florida - ordered late in the day, arrived next day at around 6 pm !!! WOW!

Question - Can these be used for residential cut pile? Should I be worried about it being too aggresive? Worried about ruining someones carpet...

Thanks!

Joe

The Tuway's will definitely be less aggressive on cut pile than cotton pads would be. But ALWAYS be cautious with any machine whenever you're cleaning a residential cut pile. Make sure you have good lubrication (wet pads and plenty of detergent sprayed on the carpet), keep the machine moving (don't stand in one place), and watch what you're doing (closely watch for any fiber distortion). If you'll be careful you should see nice results with the Tuway's since you'll be using a less aggressive bonnet.

Glad to hear you got your order so quickly
