Rick, is it possible

to replace the prickly disk on a 19" cimex pad driver? The sharp "needles" on one of my drivers have almost worn away and barely hold the fiber plus pad. Some time back I purchased a new set of pad drivers from you that came with more substancial black plastic disks covered with stronger plastic "needles" to hold the fiber plus pads. Is it possible to buy the black plastic disk, remove the old brown "needle" pad, and glue on the the plastic one. Or do you sell replacement brown needle pads. Also, how do I get the old worn pad off?

Does any of the above make sense ?

Bill,

You have the older style drivers which had the prickly material. The newer style drivers have more of a traditional hook velcro material. You might be able to peel off the old material and replace it with some new heavy duty male hook type velcro material. That should work for you. Otherwise you'll need to replace the drivers. They sell for $245 with free shipping if you end up needing to replace them.
