Feltex Carpet "Woven from pure New Zealand wool"

I have a 20 story commercial building who just installed new Feltex "Woven"
You guys ever encap this specific type of carpet?

of course the book says "HWE ONLY"

I have not cleaned that specific brand of carpet that I am aware of. However, we do clean a lot of wool rugs with the Cimex/Releasit combo. I have also cleaned other wool carpet with the Cimex/Releasit combo.

They are a NZ and Aus company. They have their tufted plant only 30km from where I live and thier spinning plant 19km in another direction with one of their dyeing plants about 50km in yet another direction.

Anyway, I've done both HWE and Cimex/encap on a lot of these commercial carpets. You do need to use a bit of common sense.

I won't use encap on new carpets that may cause fuzzing/felting. I've had one job where it was a commercial wool installation in a church. The main walkways were trafficed enough that I got no fuzzing but under neath all the pews where it had never been walked on, it fuzzed very quickly. I immediately pulled out and HWE the remainder.

You will need more juice as the wool will suck it up very quick.

I still encap the majority of my commercial work and a lot is wool.

I agree with what john had to say.

Have clean lots of wool carpet the same way but need to look very carefully at each job.
