Grape juice

How would you go about getting this out if you were encap only? I am new to encap and still use my HWE quite a bit. I was certainly glad to have had my HWE today but wanted to know if there is another way to clean these stains.

Chemicals to use: club soda, vinegar, dawn or joy dish soap. Aplly to stain and dab, dab, dab, dab,dab until you might see results. See http://www.weardated.com

Not all stains always come out.

Even with a good encap product, sometimes you still need HWE. I cleaned a smelly berber carpet last year with encap and the black dirty spot in the middle of the room was producing mud. Time for HWE. Every urine job requires HWE.

Cleaned a clubhouse last year with wine spills on the carpet that were not fresh. Used my encap and they came right up.

Here's an experiment for you: Take a light colored carpet like in your pic, and grind a black magic marker into it and see if it comes out. Really make it interesting, and put some mustard on the carpet and work it in and let it dry for a few days and test it. Good luck!

I'd personally try Red Vanish on it.  And if anything was left BP's Stain Zone for residual staining.

Of course that is if it is Nylon or Polyester, Olefin in MAY just come right out.

If it is Wool there is a Red Relief for wool.

Make you own luck,

I have used encap spot on red wine on cut pile nylon with excellent results. twice... I have also used punch on cut pile nylon on "juice" spots (not sure what kind) and encapped with my iCapsol with the same results.

My first attempt would be using Cyclone VLM. Then I would go with RedVanish.

Stain Magic will work great for this! Just like red wine...Don't use heat. You will notice that once the Stain Magic hits it, the color will change to gray. Then it will completely fade away. The last time I did grape juice, the stain was completely gone within a few minutes. Cover with plastic wrap to keep the reaction going longer. Bob

On the small spots, I didn't use any heat but in the centre of the stain, it was taking too long for my comfort so I used an iron to apply some heat and presto, it was gone.
