We use a Butler van as a backup to the two Cimex's we own.

Harold,
If you're in need of a good portable - we handle 3 lines of machines that would serve you well.
My favorite - Kleenrite.
A solid contender - Windsor.
And a low price alternative - Mytee.
Within these product lines are a range of machines that can fit most any requirement. And as always, our prices are competitive too. So if you'd like to give us a shot, we can help you select a machine that'll serve your needs.

I use a Recoil XPS because fo the large CFM's and hose 2" hose runs which allow me to keep the machine in one area and run my hose through the house and not have to climb stairs with the machine |

If you are wanting to go with a conventional extractor then Cross American is the way to go, if you are looking for a high flow extractor then a Steamin Demon is the way to go.
We own both units and use them all the time. I also use the Cross American with a power washer adapted to do T&G, concrete cleaning and such.

Rick, Which is the better machine, Kleenrite or Cross-american? I would like something with good power. Thanks, Harold |

I really like the build quality of the stuff that Kleenrite makes. It's total quality! This particular unit has plenty of power (can be used for tile and grout).
I also hear good things about CA from the folks on the boards. So it comes down to what fits your personal needs best.

Is that the same machine as your bro, Dave has? I saw it in action at his stone class and it was AWESOME! Had plenty of power and was definitely well made...

Nice Set up Ed
Curious, what is your carpet cleaning rate? Your tile & grout rate? Thats quite a bit of expense you got there isn't it? Your propane, and gasoline for generator ect.
Thanks
