Where to get company shirts?

I'm looking to get some nice company shirts made. Some to wear when marketing, and some for cleaning.

Any websites you would recommend for this? Or would you recommend getting it done locally?

For on the job, would you always recommend 100% cotton for comfort? I bought some shirts that have moisture wicking, but they are not very soft. I think it's 100% polyester.

www.queensboro.com

I always wear polo's, have probably 40 black or white ones hanging in the closet. Maybe a little excessive but I wear the newer ones on estimates and the older ones for work days.

Great company to deal with, and whenever I've had a problem, they've fixed it lickety split.

5 blue button down shirts with teh logo to high on chest. I called them just to let them know they were off a bit.. they sent me 5 new one and i got to keep the old ones as well..

they are having a 25% off sale that goes off tonight for past customers

just another perk of shopping there.

Thanks guys for the super fast replies. I'll go check out those sites.

I was scanning the net, but realized I had no clue which ones were legit and which weren't.

Nothing like learning from other people's experience.

Buy locally they will be your customers

We buy our shirts and have them logoed locally. Our promotional products lady will either sale us a shirt that she has or we sometimes go to the store and buy our own shirts and take them to her so she can logo them. Ours are embroideried. She charges like 5.00 to logo each shirt and the last batch I had logoed we bought them at Academy for 10.00 per shirt.

Since she is also a customer of ours she knows what we do and is always looking for unique things for us to help promote our business. September of last year we were in a Chocolate festival and Taste of Home cooking show. We had a booth, and sponsored part of it. We were one of the few vendors there that had nothing to do with chocolate or cooking so our promo lady said why don't you get some spatulas and pass them out. I bought 500 and they went fast. Funny thing is we are still getting jobs off of those spatulas. I had three jobs last month from those and have one booked for this month already.

So find someone local to do this for you and it might work out for you too.

Just a hint if anyone is planning on ordering from Queensboro. If you use Google to search for them, they have a special on their polo shirts for only $7.95 each, regularly $14.95. Just stumbled across that by mistake.
