I wouldn't personally bother with them. Unless it was a down right steal. I bought one for $20.00 bucks and for that it was just a down right steal. It got me by when just starting out.

But i would most definely concider looking into a 380-rx hepa. (exellent-supply.com)

I used to sell Rainbows (water filter vaccuums- and door to door Kirby competitior) they "shampooed" too- with an attachment called the "Aqua Mate".

The Rainbow was like $1500 dollars and then they bought you off for referrals by adding value items for a certain number of referrals.  The Rainbow is a great vaccuum, just takes more time dumping and filling the water basin for every use.

EVERY single thing they added to build value was CRAPOLA!!!!!!!!!!

That's why I quit selling them, within weeks I would be flooded with calls about how their $400 value Aqua Mate broke for the third time in a week.

They're big, bulky, low performance, over-priced, old-school vacuum cleaners.

I actually started my cleaning business with a used Kirby. The old thing ran fine. But there are better units available today.

Want a reasonably priced vacuum that performs extremely well and holds up too?

Call our office and get yourself a Koblenz. You will like it!

They're similar to Sanitaires, only better.

Koblenz

I'm curious about the Koblenz. Several models to choose from, and yes they all look similar to power flite and sanitaire's. What, in your opinion makes them better?

I noticed that consumer reports didn't give a very good review to the koblenz they rated, but some of the vacs they consistently rate as the best are pieces of garbage.

Consumer Reports often proves to be a joke IMHO.
Their reports never seem to match up to what I experience.

Some of the nicer (non plastic) Powrflites are manufactured by Koblenz.

As I understand it, Koblenz looked at Sanitaire and then made some design improvements.
Koblenz is known for that. They look at existing equipment and then they improve on it.
And they typically sell it for less than the product they patterned theirs after.

Actually we are currently adding a bunch of new equipment to the site.

In fact, our web guy is working on it this week while we're away.

Should be finished in the next week or two.
In the meantime "operators are standing by"
