Small Portable extractors

April 4 2008 at 11:50 AM
Matt

I have been looking at some 3-gal extractors that I could use to do "spot" extracting of entrance areas, etc. especially for places that dont have a direct water hook up/ drain for my demon. Has anyone looked in to any of the Cross american or Mytee products? (Ie mytee ligth & Mitee Turbo)

Just curious if anyone has used or has these types of machines, and if it is worth it. I plan on purchasing a large portable for T & G, further down the line.

Cross American has a great 3 gallon extractor called the mighty-one. I have had one for about 9 years with no trouble. It has 60 psi so it has power.

In addition to the CA machine, I also really like the Windsor Presto 3 Deluxe.

I actually own one for our cleaning company. It's a sweet lil machine. We used to use the Hydroforce 2 gallon Powerspot machine - and by comparison I really like the build quality of the Windsor Presto Deluxe a lot.

Here's the link for the Presto 3 Deluxe...

Another inexpensive alternative is the little Mytee porty. Here's the link...

Having a little spotter porty on hand is a nice option. We have used them in our cleaning business for many years. I can't picture being without one.

Doh! Just when I thought I bought all the equipment I need. Sounds a lot easier than lugging out the big extractor for tiny areas.

I guess I'll go and sell a kidney or something.

Durrmaid makes a 2 gallon Spotter. 200 degrees of Heat and 102" of lift. 60psi spray. Supposed to be a cool little unit. Is on my list of Accesories.

I have a Diamondback with dual 3 stagers. I have a feeling I might be using less and less of this thing now that I have a Cimex and a Steamin Demon. At least I hope so.

Didn't that Dur-maid spotter have some issues? Thought I read somewhere that it didn't work out as well as it sounded like it should have.
