tile & grout

Bill Youmans

hi everyone, for those of you who do tile & grout, can I do as good a job with cimex and brushes, as opposed to a portable with a tile type wand?

Thanks,
Bill Y

I have not had much success with the Cimex on commercial T&G but I know a few who have had success in residential when they add 35-40 LBS weight to their Cimex.

T&G

It depends on the situation T&G is something a lot of people are tryting to move into and want a quick lesson on the boards.
If you are doing a large commercial job you can run into Grout stains that hand grenades and kerosene won't budge. But sometimes they'll come right up.
If your talking residential then if vnothing has been put on the floor like mop and glow or wax then "typicaly" it will come clean fairly easy. I personally thing you'd be better off with a mop, white grout brush on a stick,
and a deck like grout brush and shop vac then just going with the cimex.
I have a T&G porty and a TM and a turbo hybrid and wouldn't tackle a t&g job with out it.
Do some studying and reading because like carpet sooner or later you will get burned if you don't knoww to do the tests and what to "promise"/tell the customers
