Cimex and pad machines

April 11 2008, 4:50 PM

Patrick, We have 3 pad machines, 1 large that we have had over a year, also another 19" Cimex. I am going to buy another Cimex ($5000. marble machine) No loss of love for the Cimex. Our shop is bulging with equipment, some of it needs to go. I have two employees, and some like this and some like that, if you know what I mean.

I know what you mean Rambo! If I wasn't in the market for a Sprint,I would definitely consider your cimex.Sounds like an awesome deal for anyone interested though.Good luck with the big yellow marble bird...my wife is down in Florida as we speak getting some time on one of those at Dave's class.Watch...she comes back announcing that we "have to get one".As of right now,we just use the marble kit from Rick, works like a charm!

Gold or Silver

April 11 2008, 5:18 PM

Patrick, you are a lucky man if you can get your wife to attend a Stone and Marble class put on by Dave. And if she comes back and goes out and does the work, you have got a winner. A wife that is that interested in this business is worth more than Gold or Silver.

Rambo ‘ol-buddy you don’t know the half of it; Patrick’s got himself one amazing lady. Denise and I just got back from dinner with the guys (Janette included). So far the class has gone great; they are all picking it up real well. It’s fun putting on a stone class. The students walk in the first morning and they seem to have this “fish out of water” look to them, they’re all kind of bewildered like. By they end of the first day of actual class room time they’re still a little fuzzy but by the time we get onto the floor and they see it all in action it al comes together and they’re like a fish in the water. They are all doing great.

As for the class this time the students all made out great; there are only actually 4 students in the class this time with three instructors so there is a lot of attention given to each student; Felix and Kip who are both new to stone (but Kip has a very strong background in VCT) and then Chet who has gone through a different stone class (Chet has a very successful CC company and I had the privilege of attending SFS with him a couple of years ago) and then of course the Lady of the class - - - drum roll please - - - Janette (who also has been to two other stone classes in the past). Let me tell you this girl isn’t afraid of anything. She is very smart and picks it up very fast - - - and she is ONLY TWEENTY FIVE.

Patrick she’s doing great (as if you need me to tell you that); and she said you were looking at getting a Sprint. Don’t worry buddy I loaded it up for you just this afternoon along with a new CR48DF. Rick said you don’t need to worry about paying for any of it and that he’d put it on Shorty’s account ‘cause of being Down Under and all.

Marty, over a $1000 off and you still want a payment plan. No harm in asking. What have you got to swap?

Nothing.

I just don't need it after re-plumbing my TM to 2.5 inch ports and hose.
