I currently have an hp printer inkjet. I'm looking to get a laserjet to do my printing needed for my marketing work. (CMS) Dell computer is great for small business. But when it comes to printers i think hp is the better.

Since i have a relationship with Dell I'm thinking about purchasing from them their all-in-one laserjet 1815dn. Any experience with dell printers?

How much printing are you planning on doing? Are you planning on printing in color?

I will be printing COLOR POSTCARDS ect,ect.

I would suggest outsourcing the post cards. Ink will eat you alive in costs with a color printer. The printer you are looking at is black and white only. Toner cartridge is $80 each and they claim it will print 5000 pages of black and white. My experience with Dell Printers and Toner cartridges is that they forget to fill them all the way and you get about half that.

If you really want to print the cards yourself I Would stick with the HP and get a Continuos Ink system. and then be sure to use the water proof paper. Will cut costs quite a bit for you.

Thanks for the tip. Reminds me of a bag of potato chips. $4.00 for a big bag filled with air. With dark labeling covrering the top of where the chips end so that it looks full.

My hp works great been having it for five years (inkjet) it does color, photos,business cards, ink is about 80.00 for the whole set.

I'm gonna get a new pc though one for business one for home use.

xerox phaser color printer

it uses solid inks, the color is great. We it mostly for postcards. I also run a Samsung color laser for sales letters and such and have had good luck with it also.
