Commercial carpet cleaning and commercial floor care. That's all we serviced for over 25 years. That was a complete enough package and at the same time provided a niche that put us into a unique category. "Commercial floor and carpet care" is a great way to position a service business IMHO. It certainly served as a good business model for us for many years.

I agree Rick, The only problem I see for me is that I'm a single operator and S & W makes it tough to accomplish and make money at the same time. Especially if your eqipment is limited.

Do you have any suggestions. Not just for me but I'm sure? here are many single operators that may be in the same boat as me. I have the tools to get it done but is one person logical?

Strip and wax is a piece of cake. You can do small jobs by yourself, and you can bring along a helper to do larger jobs.

You already own a Cimex. So all that you'll need to add for striping is a good wet vac (with a squeegee attached), a mop bucket and a couple of mops. Pretty basic stuff.

You'll also need an ultra high speed buffer to perform maintenance.
Koblenz makes an excellent electric UHS buffer...
