Fax and other "stuff"

So I finally recieved the Releasit CMS CD and it's great. Anytime I don't have to make something up for advertising is great. All I have to do is fill in the blanks.

Next week I have my land line ging in so that I can finally get the business cards made up and I can start marketing.

I have a Brother Intellifax 1270e. Question is, do I or should I get a seperate line for the fax. It just seems very expensive to add the other Fax line but I would if you think it is necessary? Again my target is commercial with some residential.

Also, excepting credit cards. I did this once before and only came in handy a few times, but woth it at the time. In the commercial world is this necessary at this time?

I don't want to over do it but I would like the essentials for a well rounded professional CC co.

I have a B&W laser printer and an older DeskJet that prints good. Suggestions would be great!

You can do desktop printing. But the quality of "professional" printing is so much greater and honestly less expensive. So it makes sense to outsource your printing rather doing it yourself for all but the smallest of jobs. (Kind of like your customer's decision to hire a "professional" carpet cleaner)

Government accounts will expect you to take credit cards. I believe the benefits of accepting credit cards outweighs the cost. Take a look at this article I wrote for CleanFax...

As far as a dedicated fax line goes, check out http://www.MyFax.com
For $10 a month, you'll have a dedicated fax number.

WISHING YOU SUCCESS as you jump into commercial!

I just set up a MyFax account last month. Works very well. You can take a one month test drive for free, but it probably won't take you that long to realize that it works and is very simple to use.

The credit card part is something I haven't looked into yet, but definitely sounds promising.
