Not much juice.

I did 3500 sf. of commercial carpet on Monday, and used only 4 gallons of rtu DS
with the cimex. 3 1/2 hours at .15 a sf.
and only 16 ounces of DS.

Best of all customer loved the job, told someone else how great it was. Now I have more work.

Not bad?

it sounds like you may have ben a little thin on your usage. We normally use around 300 sq ft per gallon of rtu. We generally dispense enough juice to wet out the fiber to the point that we see a light even whitening of the surface. Yet at any rate, it sounds like you got excellent results and had a happy customer. Keep up the good work!

I find often I dont use much juice either...results are still great. I service a 10K SF building in my town several times a year, usually on 16 gal of RTU DS. I do boost it to 6oz/gal...seems to work great.

Am I doing anything wrong with this? Ive noticed that even though I dont observe the foaming, the carpet seems pretty wet enough. Dry time is usually about an hour....
