broken elevator today

May 22 2008 at 6:35 PM
Ken

Six story apartment building.

I get there and the super tells me the elevator is not working. Had to lug the Cimex up and down the stairs. I could have went back another day but hey I was there and had a 21 year old kid assisting me.

Fun times = not

Fun!

Well at least you had a youthful helper who could help you get the machine up the stairs. It's not too terribly difficult to carry the Cimex up a flight of stairs if you put one person on the front of the machine and another person on the back. I've even carried the Cimex up the stairs with Nancy on a few occasions, and she only weighs 100 pounds.

Glad to hear you got your job done!
Now it's time for some Ibuprofen

I'm a BIG wheel now................

Simple fix.

Just drill out the wheel hub to the same size as your regular 'Mex; wheels and slip them on.

I leave mine on permanently.

Also very easy to move over rough ground, rockeries, etc; won't bog down in dirt or sand.

Believe it or not, but I also find it easier to use with the big wheels on, Delia agrees with me on this
